Have you ever had trouble sleeping, then waking up feeling exhausted as you reach for the third cup of coffee? Do you feel like a mouse on a treadmill going around and around? I did too… but now I don’t.
It was a constant nightly ritual for me, to look at the ticking clock to guess if another hour had passed or not, and then the dialog about that. If I had been awake all this time, if I still had time to get enough sleep, would I feel like a wreck tomorrow? Oh how brutal.
I used to have such a busy head, that as soon as I would wake up, I would leap from bed with all these things I had to do. Often my awakening thought was that I was already late! Ouch! That’s such a terrible way to start your day. How stressful.
It is commonly documented and known how important sleep is. The rest is important or our bodies very quickly need to do something to survive. The body tries to produce more chemicals so we can function, but like any machinery, after a while of constant use, it needs to rest and recover.
The techniques taught by The Bright Path allow the body to experience so much rest, actually twice as deep as a nights sleep.
This is incredible! It means, in this busy world we live in, we can heal, detox, re-balance and re-program our-selves.
What that meant for me was twenty minutes of quietly using these techniques gave me energy like I had never experience since I was a child. It gave me a joy to approach my next tasks. It gave me gentleness in communicating with people around me. And it gave me sleep. Oh yes!!
Finally those nights of watching the clock were gone. I slept so deep and awoke fresh.
To this day, my sleep is incredibly deep. The moment my head is on the pillow I feel my body moving into deep rest, and I am asleep. I very rarely move in the bed and awaken refreshed and calm.
To those of you who know you need more rest, this could be it.
To those of you who dream of a good night sleep, this could be it.
And for those of you who wish to take the urgency out of everything but still get the results… this definitely is it!
