This 6 week online advanced course will be focussed on our relationship with pain. Physical, mental and emotional pain.
Dates are: 21 July; 28 July; 4 Aug; 11 Aug; 18 Aug; 25 Aug
The course will cover the following:
* Understanding the mechanics of pain
* Changing your relationship with pain
* Learning how to choose in the midst of intense pain
* Exercises and techniques to assist you in becoming present in your body
* Learning the difference between ignoring and allowing pain
* Exploring the role of emotions, thinking and resistance
Pain is subjective and happens in the brain. In order to change our relationship with pain it is very helpful to have ongoing guidance, even after understanding the mechanics of pain. So I created this 6 week course to support you in making the choice for peace, over an extended period of time.
As well as the 6 online sessions, there will be a private WhatsApp group, where you can ask questions about the course content and your own individual experience with pain. This group will remain open even after the 6 week course ends for ongoing questions and sharing with each other.
The sessions will be recorded so if you miss one you can watch the replay. You can also watch each session again in the future to remind you of what we cover on the course, or to listen to the guided exercises to assist you in changing your relationship with pain.
Feeling safe can play a big role in changing your relationship with pain, so the course will be limited to a small number in order for you to feel comfortable and able to connect and share with the other participants. Everything shared on the course will remain private and confidential.
