Commitment is powerful. If you want to go somewhere, it makes it easier to get to where you want to go. Commitment starts with a crystal clear picture of what you want, and a decision to do what it takes to reach it. 

Have you ever considered enlightenment, self-realisation, or freedom? What does that mean? What would your experience be like when you were that?
Let’s start by looking at what your experience is now. What does a typical day look like? There might be a bit of thinking, pondering about the past, reliving the last conversation with a family member or the boss that didn’t play out the way you wanted.

When we were children, we perceived our little world, which, for many of us, translated to parents and siblings.
During this time, we learned to define concepts. There, we discovered what a home was: if we were fortunate, that included shelter, support, safety, protection, care, love, harmony, attention, nurturing, a sense of belonging, flow, freedom of being, and freedom to express our feelings.

And so the search began. At least, that is my first memory of my search for peace – the first time I consciously chose to find peace. Until this realisation, experiencing peace was merely a memory from childhood.
Sure there were times when I was content, but it wasn’t the same as when I was younger.

Imagine if we just naturally knew what to do in any situation. Or we were able to intuitively recognise what the appropriate action to take is when dealing with people and life circumstances. Or to recognise when we’re acting out of judgment of others or ourselves. 

Feeling lonely has always been a big issue for many people. But does it need to be this way? I think not.
Why do I write that? Because I used to feel incredibly alone in this world, always on the edge of every group I wanted to be a part of, and now I don’t feel lonely at all.
This change happened gradually for me. Over a few years, little bit by little bit, the feeling of loneliness faded away. The foundation for this change began when I learnt the Ascension techniques.

Do you remember experiencing an unforgettable “Aha!” moment in your life? A time when something became so clear to you, the realisation was simultaneously astounding and truly inspiring. Do you remember the impact of that?
I remember climbing a really high mountain in Scotland for the first time. My friend and I, aged 16, were so determined to get to the top we hardly stopped on the way up. As we reached the summit, the clouds cleared and revealed an utterly breathtaking view of hundreds of miles along the coast
